The graphic results of this week’s workshop. We had to do the graphs for a pre-programmed runner in Adobe Flash. We were also asked to change some gamepleay stuff via simple coding.
While I am dissapointed at my game (especially animation and
since I did it last with not time left), it has been a very rewarding experience in terms of actual video-game design.
I hope to make my game better during the holidays when I’ll have so space to breath and not have to work all the time.
If you wanna try my game (as there is some stuff that graphics cannot show), you can download it here. It’s a .swf so you’ll need shckwave flash to get it running :) )
UPDATE : I had put the wrong link hahahaha
UPDATE 2 : You can now directly play the game on my deviantart here :3
I have yet to rework the character’s hitbox, so while it is still possible to avoid all obstacles, I’ll not to you that it’s pretty hard as of now !
I apparently forgot to upload this one here.
Speedpaint - 30min - Desert Treck
Didn’t want to continue my 3D so I finally took an hour for myself and draw a bit.
I started on my own till the second or third year of middle shcool, then from that year till the end of high school I had 2hrs of drawing lessons a week, and in high school I also started drawing on my own more seriously. Then the first year after high school I had to draw a lot in my studies, no especially to learn, we just had to product a lot, so I improved “by default” and then I just continued learning on my own since then. Now I am in studies where I have to draw a lot, so I try to put myself challeges etc to impove :)
So I’d say a bit of both. I had the chance to have some lessons when i was young, so I’d say it helped me understand the importance of fundamentals of drawing like construction en perspective, but I also applied them on my own and trained a lot to improve, doing studies and all that, on my own. So a mix of both :)
Also for the very begining, I drew as a child like all children, but since my mother also draws a bit I guess I had a good environment to start in ^^
Tiny something I found while looking for lessons in my ehdd. This is an illustration of a game project we made with Shuu :D
I really hope we’ll get this project somewhere one day, I really like it.

Trying to get back to doing it everyday since I went from “absolute-killing-crunsh-time” to “simple-killing-crunsh-time” and such can put some other stuff in my drawing priorities x)
I don’t know if my body assimiled all the posemaniacs I did 2/3 weeks ago, but restarting with this one felt a lot more natural and easier than I remember ever feeling.
Samples of school work.
Still a lot lot of work, but we’re getting there.
The complete stuff for a work where we had to imagine our school in a post apocalyptic setting.
I was too tired to make a post yesterday, but we finished the 23h of bd thingie, and even if we didn’t finish all the colour on all ther pages, we did draw all of them, so there it is It’s finished, in time.
