It’s 4 am and I have a real weird urge to get back into Professor Layton stuff, but at the same time I refuse to stop drawing Lutece.
Hoping discretely into the petstuck bandwagon.
Some sketches after finiding one of Crispy’s sketches that made me want to make Renaïel exactly the same, yet I couldn’t really reach a consensus with how she looks now…. Well the last one is not bad, still I’m sad I couldn’t make her the same yet not the same haha.
So I’m making a small porfolio for an interview next tuesday and thus I started digging into the depth of my folders and found this old lil’ fella. Back in 2010 there was some kind of a metroid contest and you had to design a creature that Samus could encounter.
So I made a vegetal snake that just lurks in the flora invisible and waits for you to come near to jump on you an pierce you and dissolve you haha.
Aim for the green shit at it’s tail end tho.

Doing stuff starting from sketches/shapes done in alchemy is very relaxing…

Travelling through space is a very silent and long process. Surrounded by stars and void, you float through meteorites, comets and planets, just the two of you, alone.
Yet suddenly the void around you starts to change. To move. It gains texture and consistance. Then a flash of yellow passes you by, and a second one, quick and almost imperceptible. Rena tells you not to move, that she thinks she knows what are these moving tears of space. So you coil around her, trying not to let excitation get the better of you (especially in this form, nothing good could happen if a burst was to come now…)
And ever so slowly, these “tear of space” appear to you, long and serpentine and gigantic. The giants turn around you, observing in a slow dance.
You take that as an invitation.
